Samantha & Chris - Charlottesville Summer Elopement

Summer sunshine, champagne toasts, canoe flips, and private dinner with your closet friends. These are some of the highlights from Samantha and Chris’s elopement at their private VRBO in Charlottesville, Virginia. After originally planning a large, traditional wedding with hundreds of guests, they decided to pivot and embrace a celebration that felt more true to them as a couple. With only five guests present at their wedding, their day was laid-back, relaxed, and they had the ability to go with the flow and embrace spontaneity, genuine conversations, and soak in the moments that meant the most.

I was able to work with such an amazing vendor team, which made this day even more special. One of my best friends and wedding photographer, Julia Michael Co. captured the couple’s day and made them feel so relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. Sincerely Pete was such a kind and welcoming officiant and Urban Flora did such as amazing job with the florals and truly made our design vision come to life. Our intimate dinner party dreams came true with tablescape details from Festive Fare Rentals and an amazing private chef experience from Pamela’s Party Pantry.
