Monthly Open House Hours

Starting in April 2026 - on the second Friday of each month from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, the Atlas & Ember showroom opens for complimentary drop-in visits. These hours are designed for brides who want to explore the vintage collection in a more relaxed, casual way without booking a full appointment. Open house hours are a great way to see the collection in person, explore vintage bridal for the first time, or browse more relaxed looks for events like a bridal shower, welcome party, rehearsal dinner, or reception outfit.

Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is required. Open house visits are first-come, first-served, and reservations are not available.

Is there a cost to attend?
No. Open house visits are free to attend and are meant as a casual way to explore the collection.

How many dresses can I try on?
To give everyone a chance in the fitting area, please limit try-ons to four gowns.

How long can I stay?
If others are waiting, we ask that you keep your fitting time to about 20–30 minutes.

Can I bring guests?
Please come solo or bring only one guest. The showroom is small and this helps keep the experience comfortable for everyone.

Will I receive help trying on gowns?
Yes. I will assist with getting in and out of gowns. However, open house hours are more self-guided, so styling guidance and one-on-one attention are more limited than during a private appointment.

What should I know about vintage sizing?
Vintage sizing differs from modern bridal sizing, so not every gown will zip fully. Clips and styling techniques may be used to help visualize the fit.

What should I wear or bring?
Please arrive with minimal makeup or self-tanner, as our gowns are true vintage and require careful handling. Wear nude undergarments.

Can I purchase a gown during open house hours?
Yes. If you fall in love with a gown, you are welcome to purchase it the same day.

Are children allowed?
Because of the limited space and delicate nature of the garments, children and large groups are not allowed during open house hours.

When should I book a private appointment instead?
If you want dedicated styling support, extended try-on time, alterations discussion, or a full bridal experience, a private appointment will be the better option.
